In November, Fitzpatrick's Fitted Bedrooms completed this home office in Clayton-le-Woods, Preston, Lancashire. Our customer used this room as a home office and for yoga instruction, so needed to maximise the room's potential. There had previously been a standard desk in the room, but this made entering and exiting the room awkward. To solve this problem, Fitzpatrick's designed this angled desk, giving a wide opening to the room.
The office includes 2 filing drawers, complete with metal runners for file dividers, integral to any home office. The shelving unit also has adjustable shelves so our customer could alter the heights of the shelves to suit her needs. There is a deep cupboard for our customer's yoga equipment, and plenty of overhead storage too. In order to be able to have a PC or laptop on the desk, we have installed a neat cut-out with cable-tidy so there will be no untidy trailing wires. This job was completed in PVC-edged board in Driftwood colour.
